British attended welding training in Heats
Another stripe to Heats when British national arrived to undergo GTAW/SMAW Training.
Mr. James Ringrose who worked in Thailand started his GTAW/SMAW Course last monday and it will last for 10 days for his pure practical course. Combination Welding is one of the most in-demand welding processes in the Oil and Gas Industry. This is intended for 3 inches diameter and above.

SCAFFOLDING COURSE NOW OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT
Scaffolding Course is now open for enrollment in Heats.
The course will start on August 6-15 (including Sunday). The duration will be 10 days, 8 hours per day. The course module is designed in accordance to NVQ-UK standard using TG-20. Our course instructor is a Certified NVQ-UK Advance Scaffolder and our Assessor is a Certified NVQ-UK Assessor.
The training will be conducted in Heats Training Facility in Tarlac City. The course fee is P15,000 per participants.

Syrian National attends welding training in Heats
A Syrian national arrived in Heats last February for his rigid welding course.
Mr. Keenan who works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but of Syrian passport started last February on Basic Welding. He will then pursue SMAW Pipe Welding and GTAW Pipe Welding and he will be staying in Heats for almost 5 months.
Heats now becomes more internationally known. Many nationalities are planning to attend welding training in Heats. Kudos to all Management and Staff of Heats who tirelessly teach and train their trainees to get the best quality output training, to develop the practical knowledge of these trainees to become a certified Welders!

Bolivian national attends welding training in Heats
Another foreigner attended welding training in Heats.
Luis La Fuent, a Bolivian national and an Australian resident is now undergoing training in Heats Facility located in Tarlac City. He started in early January 2012 and he is now in the middle of rigid training.

Heats graduate passed trade test for Japan
Heats received an information recently that one of its graduate, Mr. Onie Santos passed the trade test in GTAW/SMAW Combination 6G for Japan.
The trade was required by UNO Agency and it was a job well done for Onie for passing that trade test. He will be soon flying to Japan for overseas work as Welder.

Heats graduate landed a job in KSA
Just recently, one graduate of Heats, Mr. Arnel Barba contacted us and told us that he is now working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Welder.
Mr. Barba flew to Saudi Arabia last February and currently working with Ali Ibrahim-Al Fares Co.
He took training in Shielded Metal Arc Welding NCII in Heats last year and passed the TESDA Assessment after he finished his training.

Manila Boy who took welding training in Heats landed a job
The Manila Boy trainee of Heats who took SMAW NCII and GTAW NCII landed a job in TIPCO MMD Department.
Just recently, Heats was informed that Mr. Harold Arila is now working the said firm. TIPCO is one of the biggest company in Central Luzon. Their core business is in the paper industry. Paper industry is one of the industries aside from Oil and Gas, Marine and Aircraft Industry. Industrial Plants like TIPCO needs welders to do the maintenance work of their equipment, process line among others.
To Mr. Arila congratulations. This will be the start of your career in welding. Few years from now you will be working overseas raking thousands of dollars monthly.

TESDA Visited Heats School of Welding Technology, Inc.
February 10, 2009, Tarlac City - TESDA Provincial Office of Tarlac visited the Heats School of Welding Technology, Inc. headed by Ms. Melanie Romero (TESDA Tarlac Focal Point). HSWTI was represented by its President, Vice-President, Training Director, Registrar and Technical Staff.
The visit started in the afternoon and started with the inspection of welding booths, welding positioners, storage rooms, CRs, clinic, training rooms, office/library and faculty room. The tools, equipments and materials were then inspected after the inspection of facilities. The TESDA representatives checked the completeness and compliance of HSWTI facilities, tools, materials and equipment. It was a rigid checking, ensuring that Heats complied all the requirements of TESDA as stated in their Training Standard. They were very impressed on the facilities, tools and equipment of Heats and gave a good thumbs-up.
